Nexus is a Latin word meaning “weave”, and strips of woven leather are featured in the prominent headboard of this bed, which on its own could furnish an entire bedroom. Even more: it can turn it into a veritable scenographic backdrop. Though oversized, the headboard is also essential. The original choice of saddle leather gives this piece a strong, distinctive personality. The weave highlights the three-dimensionality of its surface, making it almost vibrant. This effect is accentuated by the contrasting colored edge detail on the strips.
