Oak Carved Breton Antique Bed, WK203
About the Item
An elaborately carved oak French Breton bed from the early Twentieth century, with decoratively carved panels on the foot board depicting a man and woman in rural setting, turned posts and decorative pediment on the head end.
This bed accepts a US Queen Size (or UK King Size), 5ft wide (60 in), base and mattress set. The bed frame is slightly narrower than 60 inches wide, which means there is a small overhang of the base and mattress on either side. However, the style of the bed does allow for this.
The price includes a firm bed base (mattress support) for the bed frame. This can changed to a spring base (box spring) if required.
The mattress, bedding and linen are extra and can be supplied by ourselves at Seventh Heaven in the UK.
