About the Item

Oak single bed in the manner of Heals By A.B. Ltd, 'Good Furniture Units' who took their inspiration from Heals producing good quality household furniture, label to headboard. Head and foot boards panelled in quarter sawn oak, supported by iron rails, the headboard is on brass and ceramic castors to make it easy to pull away from the wall to make or clean. Presented in good original condition, this bed is a standard UK single size to take a 30" (90cm) mattress. English, circa 1940 99cm H (head), 52cm H (foot), 91cm W, 200cm L.
