3rd quarter 19th century pair of French tole & iron single beds. Napoleon III period. Superb faux bois walnut & satinwood paintwork on the head & foot boards inlaid with mother of pearl accents & asymetrically painted with vining flowers. Note the deeply scalloped footboard valences. The "walnut" is bookmatched. Good condition given age & use. Modern steel mattress slats. Can accommodate mattresses 34" w. x 76" l. Frames: 36 3/8" w., 61.75" h., 81" long.
