The Rosace Bed: Hand Carved In The Louis XVI Style By La Maison London
About the Item
The Rosace bed is an elegant example of the French LXVI style, with its classic columns and restrained ornamentation the bedstead stands tall and exudes a nobel confidence. The apex of the headboard has a meticulously carved rosace which is flanked by laurel leaves which are a symbol of honour
Includes: Cane work of the headboard which is given a gently aged patina (upholstered option available); a hand made sprung base which is finished in an off white damask. (If a mattress is required we offer a hand made range covered in the same fabric.)
Size as seen in photo: Super King Size; 180 x 200cm mattress size.
Size Options: If the size you require is not held in stock we can make it to order.
Finish as seen in photo: A two tone patina, made up of a hand applied gold leaf finish accented with a light french grey painted patina (option of full palette to choose from); Our finishes are bespoke; hand crafted in house and offered with a light medium or bold ‘antiquing’ to order.
Optional Finishes include: Gesso white, all painted patinas (full palette to choose from), hand gilded finishes in gold & silver, two tones; all are offered with light medium or heavy ‘antiquing’ to order; customised finishes can be made on request.
