Vintage 70s Guido Faleschini Leather Bed for i4 Mariani Pace Collection
About the Item
The "Dilos" bed, designed by Guido Faleschini for the Pace Collection in the 1970s and manufactured by i4 Mariani, is a luxurious piece upholstered in leather with integrated compartments on both sides, each featuring two drawers. The compartments are topped with marble, adding a touch of elegance to its bold modernist design. The combination of leather and marble highlights the Italian craftsmanship and high-end aesthetics characteristic of Faleschini’s work for the Pace Collection.
The bed consists of four pieces for easier transport and assembly. Its lining print features the signature i4 Mariani branding, as shown in the photos.
The mattress dimensions were custom-made in the 1970s, falling between a full and queen size, shaped specifically to fit the bed’s unique design. A recent quote for a custom mattress in this shape was $875, and further details can be provided upon request.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. The leather is in excellent vintage condition with no rips or tears, showcasing a beautiful patina. There are some nicks on the corners and light wear in certain areas. On the right side of the bed, there are slight, barely visible pen mar.
