Our walnut high back bed is constructed out of North American solid black walnut.
The bedside railings are hand carved to add texture and character.
The bed frame is constructed with self tightening clasps and can be taken apart for easy transport.

MSJ Furniture Studio
A contemporary furniture design studio based in Vancouver British Columbia. Founder Michael Smith-Jones comes from a long line of builders, sculptors, and artists. Raised surrounded by his father's stone sculptures Michael draws influence and inspiration from his upbringing and his fine woodworking background to create bold assertive designs, with sensitivity to balanced form, function and beauty. Each piece is handmade in our studio. Every curve, surface, and joint is contemplated and scrutinized to produce furniture that you can enjoy for a lifetime. Our designs are carefully crafted to be comfortable in many design environments. Bringing in old ideas and new to create furniture that is reminiscent of the past while belonging in the present.
This bed frame can be customized to any bed size. Also available in other North American hardwoods. Headboard and leg height can be customized.
