About the Item
This is a very rare and desirable pair of Andre' Frechet' genuine French Art deco period nightstands or end tables. They have been professionally refinished in a piano gloss black lacquer with the gorgeous nickel elements having been completely replated in nickel. The cases were originally a burled walnut, and the designer was asked to have them done in black lacquer and they are absolutely stunning. The stands are incredibly rare and in very, very good condition and have no major issues that need to be mentioned beyond some dust and the most minor signs of wear if any at all. They don't get better looking than these and these would look absolutely fantastic in an Art Deco designed room. They date t the 1920-30s era and are 24.5 inches high x 23.75 inches wide x 15.75 inches deep
