A truly stunning and well made piece, this can be used in any setting, next to a sofa to display a lamp, picture frame and glass of wine, in a bedroom setting as a nightstand or in a hallway next to a bench, it is very utilitarian
The chest has four good sized drawers, at the top you have a butlers slip serving tray, this was designed for your "Butler" to serve drinks and snacks on to protect the top surface from any damage, the tray is in hand dyed brown leather with gold leaf tooling and blind embossing, they are sublime
The condition is very good, we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, there may be some age and use related patina marks here and there as you would expect but mostly it is in fine order
