About the Item

This Bernard Govin night sands are the only one currently on the market. Its design is as precise as the other pieces by this designer. The workmanship is of the highest quality. Bernard Govin is a French designer and interior designer who was born in 1940. Throughout his life, he has created a series of pieces whose fluid aesthetic, full of bold, futuristic curves, continues to seduce. He joined Ligne Roset in the late 60s. After studying at the Duperré School of Applied Arts and the Institute of Industrial Aesthetics, he opened his own agency in 1963. His research focused on new materials. In 1966, he exhibited an emblematic work at the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs (SAD): the Asmara floor chair, published by Ligne Roset in 1967. At the 1972 SAD, still with Ligne Roset, he presented the Dunes chair. His innovative pieces are surprising in their inventiveness and modernity. Bernard Govin went on to create other models in collaboration with various publishers before moving to the South of France to design interiors.

Georgian Mahogany Pair Of Bedside Tables
Located in Bedfordshire, GB
A Good Quality And Attractive Pair Of Late 18th Century, George III Period, Mahogany Bowfront Bedside Night Tables, or Pot Cupboards, Having Well Figured Tops Over Hinged Doors With Replacement Brass Handles, Raised On Elegant Square Tapered Legs. This pair of Georgian mahogany bedside tables are perfect for exactly what the name suggests, ie placing either side of a bed. They are a good size, tall but not overly wide or deep and stand on very elegant legs. They also have doors which of course allows you to shut away all of those bedside items which you don't want laying around. They are good quality, elegant and remain in excellent overall condition. Another nice feature is the fact they are a true pair, with the doors hinged in opposite directions, unlike so many others which we come across that have been matched into pairs and show minor differences. As with all items which we offer for sale these georgian pot cupboards...
