Pair of McGuire Style Cerused Midcentury Marble Top Nightstands
About the Item
Stylish pair of mid-century modern nightstands featuring polished marble tops from Portugal. The nightstands have a unique floating design with a storage area in the center fronted by two caned doors with patinated brass pulls. The bases are lacquer glazed or cerused with an intentionally aged, faded patina. Made in the California coastal organic modern style and manner of McGuire. The nightstands are square and finished on all sides. They have excellent joinery and craftsmanship and could also serve as side tables or end tables. The square marble slabs are thick and sit on top of the bases. They have different veining in a similar shade and tone complimenting the lacquered finishes. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
