Pocket Nightstand in Reclaimed Pine, Ash, and Copper by Luke Malaney
About the Item
The Pocket nightstand is full of little idiosyncracies: Its reclaimed wood legs are jointed at a slight angle that can be placed towards or away from the bed. The solid ash top has a little thumb carved into its side that recalls a hand going into one's pockets. Black streaks on the legs emerge over time from a reaction between the nails and the wood, which makes the piece even more unique. A hammered copper drawer face with a carved ash knob ties the whole thing together, all speaking the same, slightly wonky, language.
