Pair of 1920s Louis XV Style Painted and Gilt Child's Chairs with Carved Flowers

About the Item

A pair of French Louis XV style painted and gilt wooden child's side chairs from the early 20th century, with carved flowers and new upholstery. Created in France during the first quarter of the 20th century, each of this pair of child's chairs features a slightly sinuous back, topped with carved flowers and upholstered with a double welt neutral muslin fabric. The seat, recovered with the same fabric, is resting on four cabriole legs with scrolling feet. This pair of French Louis XV style 1920s chairs, painted and accented with gilded highlights, will make for an excellent addition to any child's room where it will bring a joyous presence!
