An early 19th century bronze Grand Tour model of a Roman sarcophagus or bath, circa 1830, with removable blue glass liner. Once a Grand Tour souvenir acquired by an adventurer travelling across Europe, this small decorative model details a typical ancient Roman sarcophagus in great detail, with four lion paw feet and a pair of lion head masks to each side. Steeped in history, this Grand Tour collectible is a stylish piece of decoration for a desk, shelf or tabletop, adding a small piece of history to your home.
