Royal Dutch Airforce Model 1964 Officer's Dagger 'KLu Officiers Ponjaard, 1964' Royal Dutch Airforce model 1964 officer's dagger. (KLu officiers ponjaard 1964). In original box and it's original black leather scabbard with gild fittings and the Royal Dutch Airforce buying ticket The dagger is marked with the sitting squirrel logo of the Company name " Carl Eickhorn" Solingen. The dagger has black diagonally angled ribbed grip with double twisted brass wire winding. The gilt pommel has the form of the Dutch Royal Crown. The gilded crossquard is showing the form of a flying gull. The scabbard is having a release button on the reverse side of the crossquard. These daggers where made in a very limited numbers in the early 1960s. The Royal Airforce ticket, dated 1966. The measurement in total is 42.5 cm x 8.5 cm.
