About the Item

This vintage back glass was made by Exhibits of the United States and titled "Contacts" in 1939 in the period Art Deco style. This back glass depicts bi-planes flying around an aircraft carrier with war ships in the background. The back glass uses a mix of a muted blue, navy blue, grey, and silver in a block printed style to portray movement in the water around the ships. The planes overhead are done in a vibrant red. The score field is at the bottom of the panel and there are two British bulls eye insignia on either side. The back glass can be utilized in a variety of design applications or framed and hung on the wall.
