A collection of novels from the Cadfael Chronicles by English author Edith Pargether, most volumes are signed by the author. Twenty-two volumes. Twenty volumes of the twenty-one novels in the series. With A Rare Benedictine which is in the order of publication, but not in the order of setting. Written by Edith Mary Pargeter, an English author of works in many categories, best known for her medieval detective series The Cadfael Chronicles, who was also honoured for her translations of Czech classics. Pargeter often wrote under the pen name of Ellis Peters. The Cadfael Chronicles is a series of historical murder mysteries, set in the 12th century in England during the Anarchy, the novels focus on a Welsh Benedictine monk, Cadfael, who aids the law by investigating and solving murders. Original unclipped dust wrappers are very smart with minor wear to the extremities. The odd small closed tear to the extremities of The Summer of The Danes. Minor sunning to the spines with the odd small mark to the panels. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd small spot. Overall: Fine
