Scarce copy of this book with photographs by Adam Kaczkowski and text edited by Kazimierz Smolen published to honour the 25th Anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp, in 1970. The album contains black-and-white photographs of buildings in the former Nazi extermination camp. Kaczkowski departs from the formula of topographic photography, presenting frames filled with silence.
Condition: Very good / very good with light edge wear to jacket and slight creasing.
