This hardcover is a first edition copy printed by The Museum of Modern Art in 1938 to coincide with an important Bauhaus exhibition. Pages are very good free of markings, tears, or stains. Original yellow cloth shows wear with soiling and tape mark from library tag. This is a deaccessioned library copy marked 'duplicate copy'. 550 b/w illustrations.
Very interesting reference with courses by Paul Klee, Kandinsky, Josef and Anni Albers, Moholy Nagy and Marcel Breuer! among others.
