About the Item
The objects that were offered for sale within these catalogues were all assembled by the decorator Pierre Delbee (1900-1974) of the illustrious Parisian firm of Jansen. Under his leadership projects were undertaken for the Elysee Palace and for the Shah of Persia's tented city at Persepolis, the Agnelli's at Villa Lepolda and for the family for whom he either found or designed many of the extraordinary objects within these catalogues.
Part 1 - 268 lots, described and illustrated in color.
Part 2 - Maritime Pictures, 575 lots with brief description and color photographs.
Part 3 - Porcelain and Paperweights, 152 lots, with brief descriptions and color photographs.
