Edited by Annette Dixon with essays by Robert F. Reid-Pharr and Dixon and a dialogue between the artist and Thelma Golden. 4to (10.25’ × 12.25”), cloth boards with pictorial dust jacket, 100 pages with biography and select bibliography at end. Fully illustrated with images of artworks and installation shots in color and b/w. First edition, second impression inscribed by Kara Walker on the half-title page to the graphic designer David Leigh. NF boards. Minor rubbing and bumping to dj.
