Lebbeus Woods Origins: Mega II

About the Item

Catalog published to coincide with the exhibition of visionary American architect Lebbeus Woods’s drawings, sketches, and models, held at the Architectural Association in London from September 27-October 26, 1985. With text by Woods along with Archigram’s Peter Cook, Olive Brown, and Robert Benson. Woods was known for his radically experimental architectural renderings, almost completely unbuilt yet still influential (hence the involvement of members of Archigram in the planning and execution of the exhibition and catalog), along with his contributions to the set design of the movies “Alien 3” and “Twelve Monkeys.” Large 4to (13.5” x 10.75”), pictorial wrappers, with pictorial dust jacket, 64 pages with illustrations throughout, some in color. A highly scarce and significant architectural document.
