Il Mobile Piemontese (Piedmontese Furniture.) Milan: Görlich Editore, 1997. First edition hardcover with dust jacket. 204 pp. Italian text. A beautiful book on the history of carved Piedmont furniture and design with 16 full page color plates and numerous black and white illustrations. Piedmont furniture is known for its Fine carving, its painted furniture and it's similarity to French furniture of the same period. Sharing a boarder with France the Italian and French furniture were often influenced by each other.
