A rare set of Daniel Defoe's works published in 1878 by George Bell & son's in London. George Bell & Sons was a reputable publisher in the 19th century, known for producing high-quality literary works. The set was published in 1878 which is later than Defoe's lifetime (1660-1731), This period is known for its attention to book craftsmanship, including the use of leather bindings and gold embossing.
