Sotheby's The Thanet Dinner Service Paul de Lamerie, 1742-1746 London 11/22/84. First edtion hardcover with results. Lot 60 of this silver auction brought £860,000 ($1,180,000). The catalogue has a history of Paul de Lamerie as well as a history of Sackville Tufton, 7th Earl of Thanet, his Family and the house in Grosvenor Square. Lots are illustrated in full color with results.
