Stated first U.S. Edition hardcover with dust jacket. 253 pp. A survey of the development of furniture styles from ancient Egypt to the present day. It describes what was made in each period, how it was made, and the social and economic conditions that effected its style and production. Each example is illustrated with line drawings.
