Vermont Clock and Watchmakers, Silversmiths, and Jewelers, 1778-1878 by Lilian Baker Carlisle. L.B. Carlisle, Burlington VT, 1970. 1st, signed and numbered Ed (#601/1000) hardcover with dust jacket. Lilian Baker Carlisle developed her knowledge of Vermont craftsmen as a secretary to Electra Havemeyer Webb, collector of Americana and the founder of Vermont's Shelburne Museum. She worked at the museum for ten years as the head of research and collections.
