19th Century Silver-Gilt Bracelet with Micromosaic Medallions

About the Item

Silver-gilt bracelet composed of three medallions decorated with micromosaics on a black onyx background. The micromosaics feature multicolored bouquets of flowers, and the setting is embellished with garnets and pearls. The medallions are interspaced with a four-petaled flower motif highlighted with a garnet in the center. The bracelet is stored in its original case, labeled on the inside: Alph. Giroux et Cie. 7, rue du Coq St. Honoré Paris. circa 1850 Bracelet weight: 1.3 oz (37 g) Dim: L 11 in, W 0.3 in, H 1.4 in Dim: L 28 cm, W 0.8 cm, H 3.5 cm.
