A glazed sample case of precious stones, the collection of 12 gilt tins house a range of uncut stone samples all with their original hand penned labels. Among them is a rough diamond, Indian rubys, opals, sapphires, moonstone, amethyst, garnet, aquamarine among others.
The tins also sit within a well made travelling case, with gilt tooled markings of the retailer T.G.Woods & Sons, Spencer Street London, Dealer in Precious Stones.
