A Mid-Century Modern sterling silver brooch with three amethyst gem stones by Mexican Taxco silversmith Antonio Pineda (1919-2009). The lovely piece was created in the form of a peapod with amethyst as the peas. It is marked verso model number #PR571
Antonio Pineda stamp and .970 silver. The design is likely dated to 1950-60s.
