Mid-Century Diamond Foliate Brooch in 18 Carat White Gold
A refined and beautifully made diamond brooch dating from the mid-20th century, crafted in 18ct white gold. Designed in an elegant foliate scroll motif, the brooch features an openwork frame set throughout with brilliant-cut diamonds.
The design comprises ninety-one round brilliant diamonds: sixty-three stones measuring 1.4mm to 2mm, and twenty-eight stones measuring 2.1mm to 2.7mm in diameter. Estimated total diamond weight is 2.50 carats. The stones are assessed as G/H colour and VS to I1 clarity, set in claw and beaded mounts.
Raised on a wirework structure and fitted with a double pin and safety catch for secure wear. Stamped 750 for 18ct gold.
