About the Item
Signed Sergio Bustamante Sterling Silver & Vermeil Sun and Moon Link Bracelet, 7.75", 27g
A stunning and clearly signed bracelet by renowned Mexican artist Sergio Bustamante, known for his surrealist approach to both sculpture and jewelry. This celestial-themed piece features alternating sun and moon face medallions, exquisitely crafted in sterling silver with rich gold vermeil accents. Each link is animated with expressive, stylized faces—hallmarks of Bustamante’s distinctive visual language.
Measuring 7.75 inches in length and approximately 0.25 inches deep, the bracelet is composed of five radiant sun links and four crescent moons, all connected by sculptural gold vermeil chain links. The reverse of one sun medallion is clearly stamped “MEX GA39 927,” along with visible signs of Bustamante’s hand and design sensibility throughout.
Weighing 27 grams, this bracelet is both substantial and wearable, secured with a lobster clasp. Its warm bimetallic tones and surreal celestial forms make it a standout piece for collectors of Mexican modernist or artist-signed jewelry.

Dimensions: 7.5" L x 0.5" W
Weight: 32 grams
Marks: “925 MEX” and “DB-925” (Sergio Bustamante maker's mark)
A sculptural, celestial-themed bracelet by celebrated Mexican artist Sergio Bustamante, crafted in sterling silver. The piece features alternating links of expressive sun faces and crescent moons, each individually modeled with Bustamante’s signature surrealist features. The three-dimensional sun medallions radiate stylized flames, while the moons are cast with distinct facial features, gazing thoughtfully to the side.
This work is clearly signed with the Bustamante hallmark “DB-925” on the reverse of each sun element and also marked “MEX 925.” The bracelet fastens securely with a hidden hook-style clasp, consistent with mid- to late-20th-century Mexican artisan jewelry.
A superb and rare example of Bustamante's wearable art, this bracelet stands out for both its craftsmanship and its whimsical yet mystical iconography—perfect for collectors of Mexican modernism or celestial-themed adornments.
