About the Item
Silver 950 Japanese tie bar with hand painted bone devil Hannya Head.
Two chains from the intricately etched silver bar hold the classic Hannya head. Certainly a conversation starter, also a wonderful decorative piece for the vanity or dresser. Can also be an interesting and creative hair piece.
The hannya (??) mask is a mask used in Japanese Noh theater, representing a jealous female demon. It is characterized by two sharp bull-like horns, metallic eyes, and a leering mouth.
It is not sterling. Actually better, 950 silver. Softer.
