About the Item
A collection of 51 wonderfully rendered parlour cards, drawings and hand-written text lithographed onto weighty card.
The cards have been mounted later on a blue velvet covered board, housed in a period maple and gilt slip frame, they also can be easily removed if desired.
Age related knocks and losses to the maple veneered frames, some very minor discolouration and staining to the cards.
Possibly produced by the Parker Brothers who started in Massachusetts in the 1880s and later had officers in New York & London.
