Mid-Century Aries Green & Gold Leather and Velvet Traveling Backgammon Set

About the Item

This is a mid-century traveling professional backgammon set by the renowned manufacturer, Aries. Aries was highly regarded for its leather quality. Even companies like Hermes used Aries leather. The company was based in Mexico and was sold in the 1990s and later revived by GammonVillage. This set is a green velvet case with green and gold leather components. There are actually four die. The pieces are made with a pearlescent acrylic. It is in very good condition and dates to the 1960s/70s. The measurements below are closed measurements.
