1930s Sweet Orr Pants Shirts & Overalls N.O.S. Porcelain General Store Sign.

About the Item

A rare original 1930s Sweet-Orr porcelain sign features the iconic three-man tug-of-war graphic, with bold "UNION MADE" text. Designed for general store & mercantile display, this unused New Old Stock (N.O.S.) example shows outstanding color & gloss with all of its original grommets intact. Sweet-Orr was one of the earliest makers of industrial garments and this piece of original advertising speaks to the rugged style and union pride of early 20th-century American labor. Once common fixtures in hardware stores and dry goods counters—today, they’re exceedingly scarce in this condition. 🧾 Item Details: • Material: Porcelain. • Dimensions: 27" X 9.5". • Era: 1930s 📌 Condition: Sign is brilliant throughout showing outstanding color & gloss with no notable field wear other than some fine surface scratches from storage. Sign shows all original grommets with an outstanding condition outer edge. 📍 Collector’s Note: An outstanding, authentic example of early workwear advertising, rarely found in n.o.s. condition. Sign has also been authenticated & graded by AGS and graded a 97 overall.
