1970s Bell System by Western Electric Barbie Pink Desk Rotary Telephone USA
About the Item
Western Electric had been producing telephones for the American Telephone and Telegraph Co. (ATT) and the Bell System since 1927.
During the 50's, new line of type 500 sets were introduced in a several basic colors when a reissued 202 model was used as its body. In 1955 a number of designer colors could be special ordered.
The featured Bell System rotary telephone was produced in 1971 is a type 500 in special order Pink. With a 6 foot extension cord and adapter for modern outlets.
Condition: In working condition both receiving and dialing out. Minor wear consistent with age and use.
