About the Item
Clothing press in oak wood, Holland, 19th century. Garment press with closed cupboard in its lower part made of oak wood in Holland. As is normal in these utilitarian elements, it lacks decoration, and was used to straighten clothes. It is not usual to keep this type of objects because they were very often discarded once new technical improvements became accessible. The oak wood was chosen for its realization due to the hardness and resistance of it.
· Size: 76x52x171 cms.
