Clothing Press in Oak Wood, Holland, 19th Century

About the Item

Clothing press in oak wood, Holland, 19th century. Garment press with closed cupboard in its lower part made of oak wood in Holland. As is normal in these utilitarian elements, it lacks decoration, and was used to straighten clothes. It is not usual to keep this type of objects because they were very often discarded once new technical improvements became accessible. The oak wood was chosen for its realization due to the hardness and resistance of it. · Size: 76x52x171 cms. International Buyers – Please Note: ?Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up - do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. The "handling time" may be 5 days or more, depending on the exportation and other requirements Please, note that for those articles that need Export Permits (those older than 100 years), the obtaining of the Permit will be processed without additional expenses, but the period for the obtention of it may vary from 10 to 35 days.
