HMS Endeavour was a British warship originally belonging to the Royal Navy and later acquired by the East India Trading Company, becoming the flagship of Lord Cutler Beckett, director of the Company, and the lead ship of the East India Trading Company's armada in the war against piracy. A three-decker, 104-gun first-rate vessel, HMS Endeavour was considered one of the most powerful warships in the British fleet.
