Large Decorative Horse and Carved wood Toy Wagon Cart Antique Dealer Los Angeles . A nicely Hand Carved wood 19th century Toy Wagon farm style has a wonderful aged patina. The wagon's hand carved wood , spoke , wheels and turning axle all in good condition . the hand forged metal work is of the period too as well as the handle with some repairs . The horse exterior is made of a coarse plain-woven fabric Burlap either made of jute or hemp that was used in industries like art , craft , home décor, and wrapping paper in the 19th Century . The entire bridle original of the 19th Century set of straps includes Headpiece, headband Cheek straps noseband , snaffle but , curb rein , throatlatch, pommel, skirt seat, cantle, girth, stirrup , jockey flap. In an Entryway during the holiday seasons , It looks great with lavender or standing by itself to decorate the side of a mantle fireplace as wood logs holder . It could be used as a decorative piece on a center table as a small cachepot with flowers of the season , or to be used during easter with hay to hold Easter eggs , or to mount on a kitchen large counter top with pumpkins during thanksgiving , in a winery to lay down and decorate with wine bottles and glasses for celebrations .
