About the Item
Miniature with female subject, watercolor on ivory.
The frame, in waxed fruit wood, is square in shape with a circle inside. The circle is bordered by a gilt brass decoration which fixes the glass.
The miniature represents a female figure with a small tiara and a blue veil.
On the back side of the miniature the pergamen whici protect the ivory reveals a delicate sketch, probabily the leftover destinated to another miniature, depicting a boy portrait.
