"Cello By Carl Friedrich Lippold – Neukirchen, 1763" Authentic 18th-century cello made by Carl Friedrich Lippold, a respected luthier from Neukirchen, Saxony, dated 1763. The instrument bears its original interior label and features a hand-carved "CL" monogram on the back button — a rare dual signature confirming its origin. Beautifully preserved, with no structural repairs, original varnish, and rich historic patina. Crafted from quality spruce and flamed maple, this full-size cello offers great potential for performance or collection. An exceptional and rarely encountered example of Saxon cello making, offered in original condition. The cello needs to be restored and is as purchased Length 122 cm, sound box 76 cm, width 44 cm
