About the Item
John G. Alden hull lines drawing of the Q class sloop "Tartar." Tartar was built by George Lawley and Son at Neponset, Mass., in 1928 for George McQuesten, a lumber merchant. The plan shows the hull lines from all angles. The legend shows LOA 50'-3", beam 8'-4", draft 6'-10". Shown as project 370, scale 3/4" equals 1 foot, and drawn by C.G. MacGregor. Dated January 4, 1928. Nicely framed.
