Solid brass "Hammerhead" ships telegraph. With faceplate from Siemens Brother and Company Limited, London. With ahead and astern ships commands including stop, dead slow, finished with engines, half, full, etc. With heavy brass control handle. Mounted to an iron pillar. The unit is mounted to a round wood base with routed edge bells ring. 44" H x 12" Diameter. w/o handle. Made: America Date: 1940 Weight: 110 lbs.
