This beautifully finest hand carved and large size Sacred Heart of Christ statue is another one of our recent great finds. In our view the sculptor has perfectly managed to capture both the wisdom and serenity of our teacher Lord Jesus Christ. Apart from a shrinkage crack in the back this good size and quality made out of solid wood Sacred Heart sculpture is in the best condition possible and it has a marvelous patina. This particular specimen is designed by a Dutch artist (P. van Geldorp from Amsterdam) and executed by a German sculptor in pre world war II Europe. We could tell you more about His perfect body posture and how this unique sculpture looks great from all angles, but we are certain that you can see that for yourself. What is most important is that this sculpture (and what it stands for) 'speaks to you' or that it 'strikes a cord'. If that is the case then maybe you should be the next custodian of this glorious sculpture.
