Handmade Sterling Silver and Gold-Plated Mezuzah Case Carmel Shabi Jerusalem

About the Item

This exquisite handmade Mezuzah case is a unique piece crafted in Jerusalem in 1986 by the renowned Israeli artist Carmel Shabi. Made of sterling silver (hallmarked 925), the Mezuzah features an elegant brushed silver body adorned with a gold-plated decorative element shaped like the Hebrew letter "Shin" (ש) — symbolizing one of the names of God. The craftsmanship reflects a perfect blend of traditional Jewish symbolism and contemporary design. The back is stamped with clear hallmarks, including "925," the Israeli hallmark, and the artist's mark "C. Shabi". This Mezuzah comes with matching gold-plated screws for easy and elegant installation. A meaningful piece of Judaica, it serves both as a ritual object and a collectible art piece representing Jerusalem’s rich artistic heritage.
