German Reflecting Telescope in Limited Edition from the Deutsches Museum in 1978

About the Item

Gregory brass spyglass - Deutsches Museum 1978/79 limited edition. This reflecting foldable telescope is being published in a worldwide limited edition of up to 1,500 numbered copies. Serial number 102, the telescope was specially made in 1978 for the 75th anniversary of the Deutsches Museum. The hand-carved cylinder is made from solid brass and features Nicolaus Copernicus' depiction of the solar system. The telescope is equipped with the most modern lenses. Made of solid brass and mahogany, hand carved and in very good condition.
