A stern and rotund mid to late 19th century taxidermy Jack Russel, presented standing on a velvet and rope decorated cushion with its perfectly faded verdgris green background. The case with its original ebonised and gilt slip finish glazed to the front and sides, label verso for Linsley Brothers, Gun Makers, Taxidermists and Furriers, Albion Street, Leeds. In great untouched and original country house condition. 49/61/17cm
