Huge 19th Century Moose Mount
About the Item
A huge, 19th century taxidermy moose mount, on its original wooden shield.
The moose is in excellent condition and has been professionally and sympathetically restored.
The moose has huge antlers, glass slit eyes and is more unusual than other mounts as the head is at a slight turn as opposed to looking straight on, showing the skill of the taxidermist.
An incredible piece of 19th century taxidermy.
