Circa 1880 carved soapstone smokers set, Chinese. Late Qing dynasty, pre-1891. Monkey holding the match container - with minor loss by stone fault lines. Cigarette holder with well carved bat & bird beside it. Both holders with incised line floral decoration. 7 3/8" x 2 3/8" x 4.25" h.
